The II Brazilian Solar Energy Congress (II CBENS), organized by Associação Brasileira de Energia Solar (ABENS), will be held from 18th to 21st November 2008 in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina.The II CBENS is a scientific and technologically congress aiming to joint the community involved with the state of the art of solar energy in Brazil and Latin America. It is addressed to researchers from universities and other research centers, as well as to equipment manufacturers and dealers, students, representatives of governmental and non governmental institutions and everyone interested in solar energy. The common goal of the participants is sharing knowledge and information, in order to promote the development and usage of solar energy technology. Also, in this edition, the ABENS congress (II CBENS) and the III International Solar Energy Society Latin American Regional Conference, will be developed as a single event.
